The Story Behind Our Theater Group
"It all started when a couple homeschool moms suggested I teach Theater at our then homeschool collaborative. Although my family had been involved in public high school and community theater for years, including my hubby and I since high school, actually teaching the subject had not been on my radar. So, 'Thespians 4JC' birthed. Classes were established and grew, shows came together, and a new program was pioneered. The name was changed, t-shirts were made, and New Life Dramatics was officially born. Founded in 2022 and based in Huntsville, AL, our Theater Group is a devoted community of enthusiastic families that love Jesus and theater arts. One of our recent highlights, this festive evening brought the world of the March sisters to life with cozy storytelling, music, and laughter. Presented by New Life Dramatics, the program featured charming stagings of The Velveteen Rabbit and You’re Driving Me Crazy, creating a warm, family-friendly celebration of love, imagination, and the joy of gathering together at Christmastime.
